1. Consultation Appointment
- Meet the doctor and team
- Digital photographs of the mouth and face, may also include a panoramic radiograph
- Comprehensive oral evaluation
- Discuss recommended treatment and financial options
2. Records Appointment
- Cephalometric x-ray to evaluate tooth and jaw positioning
- 3D scan of the mouth using iTero technology
- Finalize financial arrangements and complete consent forms
3. Bonding Appointment
- Braces are placed or Invisalign treatment begins
- Care instructions and cleaning guidance reviewed
Note: Bonding may occur during your records appointment. Invisalign patients will have a 3D scan and begin with aligner placement instead.
4. Adjustment Appointments
- Typically scheduled every 4–8 weeks
- Treatment is adjusted and monitored for progress
- Missing visits may extend overall treatment time
5. Deband Appointment
- Final records including x-rays, scans, and photos
- Removal of braces and wires
- Custom retainers created from 3D scans
- Instructions for retainer care provided
6. Retainer Check Appointments
- Scheduled periodically for 1–2 years after treatment
- Ensure proper fit and continued results
